Want To Finally Get Your ebook Created? – The Three Killer Kindle eBook Problems To Avoid When Publishing Your Book On Kindle

Want to finally get your ebook created? The easiest way, if you’re a aspiring book author, is to publish your book on Kindle. Amazon's Kindle store is the biggest book market. And the one with the biggest royalty returns for you - by far.

But do you feel that technology is conspiring against you and sabotaging your success? Does it all seem like too much work to get your book written and published?

Many aspiring authors have questions about Kindle ebooks and need some tools to help them. Well look no further because this article will give you the solutions you need, without you having to start from scratch.

Best of all, understanding the three problems and their solutions in this article will put you on the fast-track to publishing your ebook on Kindle right now. So read on ...

Problem No.1: Poor Kindle Cover

Far too many books on Amazon's Kindle store have a poor cover image.

This problem is vitally important because it’s the first thing your prospects see on the Kindle store. An amateur-looking book cover will mark you out as someone who is not serious as an author. I mean, what great book have you seen with a poor cover?

As someone who manages the Kindle submission process for authors, I see this all the time. Even if you can create your own cover, you really shouldn’t. Leave it to a professional. Someone who creates ebook covers as their job.

The big a-ha with this problem is luckily you can find loads of these people on Fiverr. And it will cost you perhaps between $5-30 to get a graphic cover designed suitable for Kindle. So just use Fiverr, and sort this problem straight away.

Incidentally, if your book on the Kindle store has a terrible cover, you can simply replace it free of charge with a professional cover from Fiverr.

Problem No.2: Poor Internal Book Layout

Now you’ve sorted the cover, let’s look inside.

The thing you need to understand with this problem is although this may not stop people buying your book, they may well demand a refund.

Aspiring book authors need to understand this problem is key because poor reviews will ensure that other people will not buy your book.

And it’s pretty easy to resolve. There are three things to check:

1. Spelling and Grammar

There's no real excuse for this. And it's easy if you’re using Microsoft Word. F7 will run a spell and grammar check for your document. If you’re not confident of this, outsource your spelling and grammar checks.

2. Layout Problems

Don’t use tables to lay things out in Kindle – it creates a horrible mess. Don’t use tabs, either, or spaces to create a table-like effect. Things that work as a format in Word often don’t work in Kindle.

3. Table of Contents

Use H1 heading tags to create your table of contents (TOC). If you do this, Kindle will create a nice clickable TOC automatically. Failure to do this, or try to do it manually, and it will end in tears.

If you don’t know how to use Headings and a table of contents in Word, get someone who does.

Problem No.3: Poor Book Title

Along with your cover, your book title is one of the only things your buyer has to go on. Get this wrong and you’ve wasted an opportunity to stand out.

Some people try to be clever with their title. Don’t! Many will either not get the joke, or will see you as an insincere author.

Here’s How to Create a Great Book Title

Your book title – and subtitle – should represent what your book does. So you need to put some thought into choosing it. And you need to do some research into how successful books in your field are titled.

Ask yourself:

1. Do I have a phrase my book buyers are searching for in my title?

2. Do the title represent what I cover in the book?

3. Is it similar to others in the same field? (You do want this).

The bottom line for aspiring book authors regarding titling your book is that it must be thought through. So follow those three titling suggestions and you won’t go far wrong.

It will amaze you how much faster you can accomplish various Kindle ebooks tasks as a aspiring book author just by understanding these three tips and tricks and using them to your advantage. It will save you tons of wasted effort.
